Rob….Great video…clear & concise…recently used a single pocket screw to strengthen a miter joint on a 2′ x 3′ picture frame using 2 ½” wide pine…worked well but part of the proximal screw holes showed up on the top & bottom rails..more practice needed!
One thing all woodworkers can agree on is that wood grain is a wonderful thing. Having said that, many of us may like different features, or characteristics, of grain.
You can think of a benchtop CNC machine as an inverted table router that is controlled by a computer. Instead of the router motor being under the table, it’s on the top.
